Steven A. Bourne, C.P.A. (CFO, Secretary and Treasurer) brings 23 years of accounting and finance experience to Clarus. Prior to joining Clarus at its inception in 2004, he spent 15 years in increasingly senior finance roles with publicly-traded and privately-held start-up pharmaceutical (Anagen Therapeutics, Inc., Gynex Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) and medical device (Aksys) companies. Additional responsibilities at those start-up ventures included oversight of administration, human resources and information technology. Prior to his experience with emerging companies, Mr. Bourne spent five years in public accounting with Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse. He holds a B.A. in accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
